The crash happened at the intersection of Kildaire Farm Road and Kilmayne Drive in Cary.
Cary Public Information Officer Carrie Roman said several people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Kildaire Farm Rd. from SW Maynard Road to Commonwealth Court is closed as crews work to clear the scene.
